On Tuesday, September 16 the Lebron 12 will be unveiled to the world. A pair will run in the neighborhood of $200. Check out the teaser below.
The 2012 NBA All-Star is game is on the horizon and with it being in Orlando this year, Nike decided to put the NASA theme around it and they could not have done any better by coming out the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy”. This shoe is a classic worn by the one and only Anfernee “Penny” Hardaway. This may be the best foamposite ever. They drop on February 25th and people cannot wait for them to drop. So be ready for these to drop at Nike retailers.
While the large majority of athletic gear is segmented for each specific sports market, Nikeannounced a product Thursday that sweeps across the entire sporting landscape and can be used by any athlete at any level: the Nike+ FuelBand, a rubber bracelet worn on the wrist during exercise and sports activities to measure “steps, calories, time & Fuel metric (currency measured by oxygen kinetics). The cost is $150, “about 50% more expensive than the similar FitBit device” as Slashgear comments. Nike recently launched its @nike Twitter account, which has a driven “its first major social networking campaign,” the Journal reports. That is where the company had been getting folks ready for their big announcement, marking all related tweets with a #makeitcount hashtag as part of the brand’s 2012 Make It Count marketing platform. The FuelBand is a great way to stay active and you also can compete and compare your activity to others. The FuelBand also syncs with your iPhone via Bluetooth, provides on-device feedback, gives you the full experience. I say it’s worth buying, I know I am going to buy one. It is the ultimate measure of activity, so if you are serious about being fit the Nike FuelBand is the device for you. Check out the video and let me know what you think.
Lebron has been killing the shoe game with the colorways for the Lebron 9. If you are shoe freak, you would know that he has been releasing the “Summit Lake Hornet” edition Lebron’s for the last couple years. Well this might be the sickest pair. They have that old school Charlotte Hornets and Larry Johnson feel. So stay tuned for the release date on these because they will be high in demand.
The Air Jordan XI Concord were released at midnight around the country. The lines for them were ridiculous and there is even a problem getting them online because of the demand of the shoe. They are going for $180, but I will say more like $220 because of the some places are charging extra just because they know people want this shoe so bad. I’m a sneakerhead, but I just can’t let Jordan or retail stores get over me. Let’s be real, Jordan is probably smoking a cigar in his bed on an island while people are standing in line for days to get them. You have retail stores spiking up the price on the shoe, when the price is already high enough. $180? Come on, they use to go for $125 plus tax. Oh yeh, one more thing, it will probably come out again in another year or two. So what’s the big rush? But it’s all good if you got them, congrats. If not, don’t worry they’ll be back in a couple years smh.
Check out the video for the Nike Zoom Kobe VII. Kobe says that you must be able to adapt, and that is what the Kobe VII is made for. You can switch out the soles of the shoe if you feel like attacking fast or attacking strong. Pretty cool idea Nike came up with, but I don’t know. I mean I hope your foot is stable enough for you to attack. You are switching soles out. But if works for Kobe then it must work period, right? Check out the video for his latest shoe.
The Nike Air Max CB 34 has quietly released this season in two impressive new colorways, this white and Cool Grey edition following up on last month’s equally pleasing Obsidian and Wolf Grey combo. Both of them added red columns within their full-length Max Air cushioning platform, and now this new pair is available at Premier and from StepToRun on eBay. Stay tuned for the official release date.
The Nike Zoom Rookie LWP is one the sickest shoes right now. The latest colorway to be thrown in the mix is the Dynamic Blue. The combination of color on this shoe is great. The blue is dynamic and the grey compliments it very well. I’ll be sure to give a release date, so keep checking in on Sneed Chronicles for more info.
