Adidas has a new commercial for Derrick Rose called “The Bull”. The video is throwed, showing D.Rose spin and burn past matadors who are just helpless. He recently released his new sneaker the adiZERO Rose 2. The shoe is a good look for Adidas. I hope their will be a season so this commercial doesn’t go to waste. Check it out.

Kobe Bryant could possibly be playing in Italy if the lockout doesn’t end. While in Milan for a promotional event, he said “it’s very possible” he would play in the Italian pro league during the lockout. Kobe would get $2.5 million for 10 games with Virtus Bologna from Oct 9 to Nov 16, smh, give me one game lol. Kobe lived in Italy as a youth because his father Joe Bryant played pro basketball for eight years. I think it would be good for Kobe and the game of basketball to go to Italy if the lockout continues. It gives Italy something new and exciting to talk about and and could boost the global economy a little bit. I say go for it Kobe.

Now I know too many people don’t tune in to the WNBA smh, but you need to. You have missed a great season, probably one of their best in a long time. But it’s not too late to catch some action.  Rookie of the Year Maya Moore and the Minnesota Lynx are headed to the WNBA Finals to face Castro Marques and the Atlanta Dream, Sunday Oct 2nd 7:30pm local/8:30pm eastern time. The Minnesota Lynx defeated the San Antonio Silver Stars in the first round 2-1 and then sweeping the Phoenix Mercury 2-0 lead by Maya Moore. The Atlanta Dream swept the Connecticut Sun in the first round 2-0 and defeated MVP Tamika Catchings and the Indiana Fever 2-1. It will be a good series. Both teams are well-rounded, but I see Minnesota sweeping Atlanta becuase of their depth. They have Maya Moore, Lindsay Whalen, Simone Augustus, I mean come on, Atlanta will have matchup problems the whole series so it will if Atlanta has a chance to win it will come down to coaching and how bad they want it. Go to for stats, interviews and more.

The iPhone 5 is soon to be released. Mainstream media reported that the iPhone 5 announcement would come on Oct 4th at Apple’s own Cupertino, CA venue, all of the information has finally come true. TheLoop informed people of the event: “Apple on Tuesday officially announced its iPhone 5 launch event. According to the invitation received by The Loop, the event will be held on October 4 at Apple’s Cupertino, Calif. campus. The event will begin at 10:00 am PT.” People are about to pay big bucks for this iPhone 5, some will go broke to have it lol, smh. So put your money aside, because the iPhone 5 is on the way soon.

J. Cole has finally arrived, dropping his debut album “Cole World: The Sideline Story”.  This album is a versatile and has substance which many albums today lack. It has 16 tracks of heat on there. Right now, this album is runner- up to album of the year. “Watch the Throne” holds the crown right now. Yes it’s better than the “Carter 4”, because of the substance and real life scenarios he talks about. The album is selling out fast so I suggest you hurry and go get it, you won’t be disappointed.

Drake has revealed his cover art for his upcoming album “Take Care”, which releases on Oct 24. In the art, Drake is surrounded by lavishness as sits at a table with a sad demeanor. The look of the cover also goes with the feels of his songs “Free Spirit”, “Marvin’s Room”, “Trust Issues”, and “Club Paradise”. He left a message on OVO:

Feels like it’s been so long. Is life moving so fast in this generation that when we desire something it begins to move in slow motion? Are we just used to getting what we want right away? Or do we require one another to feel right about all that is going on around us? Maybe our anticipation is justified by the fact that we genuinely cannot wait to share a moment again? Either way, your life and mine are scheduled to meet on October 24…I wouldn’t miss it for the world.

See you soon.

The release date for his album is also his birthday. So I don’t see Drake putting out a wack album for his B-day. I expect this album to be better than “Thank Me Later”. So October 24 will be a hell of day.

We all want to be successful. But the real question is, how bad do you want it? People always say “I want to be successful”, but it takes hard work and dedication and to be honest most people don’t want success that bad. We all have the power to do so, but it’s takes time, effort, and persistence to achieve it. Giavanni Ruffin is the perfect example of what it takes to be successful. He was a star running back at East Carolina University. Now he is a free agent in the NFL, preparing for his chance. He’s had some offers from a couple teams, so it’s just a matter of time for him. His video is and inspiration for many people around the world, kids and adults. It doesn’t matter if you are not an athlete or not, you can still work hard as hell to get where you want to go in life. I’ve watched this video a lot because I can relate, plus it gets me hype when I workout lol. I play basketball instead, so to see him work hard like that, just makes me work even harder. The motivational speaker Eric Thomas tells a great story that mashes very well with this. So take a look at the video and ask yourself, “how bad do you want it?”
