You ready for the sunday tailgating, face-painting, wing-eating, beer-drinking fun? Well I know millions of people are and are getting ready to go hard because it would have been a depressing time in America if there was no football. Glad that they came to an agreement, so players and fans can get back to work. So get ready to see a lot of what you see above.

YES THEY STILL PLAY IF YOU DON’T KNOW, SMH. WNBA ALL-STAR GAME, EAST WIN 118-113

It’s sad that people don’t know that the women of the WNBA are playing, even worse they don’t care, smh. But shout-out to the ladies for holding it down still. The 2011 WNBA All-Star Game was held in San Antonio, TX. Cappie Pondexter lead the East with 17pts and seven assists. Swin Cash led the West with 21 points and 12 rebounds and was named MVP for the second time. Former WNBA star Lisa Leslie is the only other player with multiple All-Star MVP awards. The WNBA is still going on. So catch some games if you don’t know on ESPN2 or NBATV.

TRAGEDY IN NORWAY

Tragedy struck Norway when 32-year-old Anders Behring Breivik bombed the government center on Friday, killing 7 people and then moving on to an island summer camp for youth members of the governing Labor Party and killing at least 80 people. So far 93 are dead and the death toll are supposed to rise. This is the most deadliest event on Norwegian soil since World War II. Anders says he wants time in court to tell the reason why he did it, smh. I think he needs his ass whooped.  I feel bad for the families and my prayers go out to them.

R.I.P. AMY WINEHOUSE

Amy Winehouse, one of my favorite artist of all time, past away yesterday at the age of 27. She was found dead at her home in the Camden section of London on July 23rd. Police were calling the cause of death “unexplained”, but they are still waiting on an examiner’s report. People speculate it was drugs because of her history. I don’t care about any of that, i’m more frustrated with the fact that people let her continue to use drugs and let her get to this point. Amy Winehouse was one of the most talented singers I’ve ever heard and I will continue to listen to her music. She will be deeply missed and her music will live through others forever.
