The Texas A&M women’s basketball team has won a national title for the first time in school history. They defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish 76-70 in a close game throughout. The MVP of the game was Texas A&M’s Danielle Adams, who dropped 30pts on the Irish. She was a force to be reckoned with in the post, and the Irish had no answer for her. Skylar Diggins led her team with 23pts. Some costly turnovers in the last couple minutes sealed the game for A&M. I say I woulda rather watched the Aggies play in Houston instead of UConn. But hey, congrats to both teams, and congrats to the Aggies women team for bringing a title to Texas.
